The Gryphons started in 1993 for the purpose of preparing committed youth athletes to play competitive soccer at the highest levels.

The Club was rebuilt in 2008 from the ground up and was re-incorporated as the Gryphons Soccer Club with an entirely new management team.

In early 2009, the Gryphons Soccer Club became partners with Redwood Alliance Youth Soccer (RAY Soccer).

Thanksgiving, 2009, the Gryphons Soccer Club launched its new website.
